Computer Components  - Putting a PC back together

As a task, I had to view the insides of a computer and draw out what I could see, focusing on where components are placed on the motherboard, and which way around the IDE cable is (Red pen strip should be on the left hand side).

The following week after drawing out the computer and where components are placed, we were put to the task at putting everything back together within the tutorial lesson.

RAM

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. The RAM is where the operating system, programs and data are kept when they are in use. This makes them easy to reach by the processor.
